today is vesak day ,

remember about the chinese file ! must be handed up ! all compo , exam papers , and every chinese stuffs and homeworks we ahd done this year , put it inside the chinese file and pass it up to teacher !

HYDROPONICS PROJECT includes the photo journal and presentation .
photo journal are to do it with your partner . your partner is according to index number .
eg : 1and2 , 3and4 , etc etc .
for the presentation , its also according to index number . 4 in a group .
eg : 1,2,3,4 ; 5,6,7,8 ; etc etc

everything must be done by wednesday !!
theres about ums , 1 day left !!
for your information , you can go to the computer lab tomorrow. some of the girls will be there . boys , i dont know.

science RUBE GOLDBERG PROJECT :

the challenge :
your challenge is to create a RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE that is able to hit a tennis ball and make it move a minimum distance of 6 cm after a serious of action .
COUNTED AS ONE CLASS TEST MARKS FOR TERM 3

MORE DETAILS :
the machine must be able to hit a tennis ball after a serious of actions .
minimum number of sequential actions = 6
the greater , the better :D
each of the sequential sequence must be of a different nature.
the man intervention is restricted to the FIRST action only .

judging criteria :
originality or creativity of the actions involved = 30%
explanation of scientific concepts involved = 20%
functionality of the machine = 20%
overall presentation = 30%

DUE FOR SUBMISSION
first week when school reopen ! ( after june hols )
HAND IN :
RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE
REPORT explaining the scientific principles involved in the sequential actions
eg.( measurement , speed , mass , density , force, pressure , work , turning effect , etc )
a short class presentation .

IPW PROJECT , PRESENTATION ON TUESDAY !
PRESENTATION MUST INCLUDE :
speaker one : introduce group name , what does it mean ? how did your group come up with your name ?

speaker two : introduce your project . what is the topic about ? why did you decide to focus on that topic?

speaker three : talk about the research on your project . how did you go about conducting your research ?

speaker four : what are the problems/challenges ( at least 3 ) that your group has faced ? how did your group resolve them ?

finally , each speaker is to share one thing each along their ipw journey (reflection)
